Welcome Mat - this is the latest Flophouse jr album after a hiatus of nearly 10 years. Recorded once again in the dwelling of an east Vancouver rental over the last few years, it features a fuller sound but still falls into the category of "intimate 4 track bedroom recording". A nice mix of singer/songwriter and lo/fi, hi/fi experimentation - true to the flophouse jr vibe but a little more grown up…
